The Award-Winning Tennessee Cobbler Part Two

The fall season has begun, and pumpkin spice flavor has been on my mind. When I saw that the Tennesse Cobbler Company released a limited time pumpkin pie milkshake, I ran right over to 12th Avenue South to give it a try.

The Tennessee Cobbler Company won the 2022 & 2023 Williamson County Fair Best Dessert, 2021 Kentucky Food Truck State Championship, 2019 Nashville Best Food Truck Championship, and was featured on the Cooking Channel. And after taking multiple trips to the food truck, I can see why they are so successful.

The truck's exterior is always nicely maintained and for this experience it was decorated with a mix of fall inspired orange and yellow flowers with pumpkins on top of adorable haystacks on the side.

The milkshake tasted like the perfect cozy autumn day in a cup. The subtle orange tint was extremely appealing to my eyes. It was a delightful blend of warm spices and creamy ice cream. I tasted hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar mixed with pumpkin purée. The texture was very thick yet so smooth and topped with fluffy whipped cream and crunchy graham cracker crumbs. Taking two classic desserts, pumpkin pie and milkshakes, and combining them together worked marvelously. It is like sipping on a slice of pumpkin pie, but in a such a smooth and refreshing form.

The price was on the higher side at ten dollars, but I thought the quality made it worth every penny.

I truly believe there is no food more comforting than ice cream. Living far apart from my family has been a struggle and ice cream has never failed to calm down my mind that is always racing. It may sound a little silly, but a cold milkshake filled my heart with so much warmth. A cup of ice cream is such a simple yet powerful reminder to appreciate the little joys in your everyday life.
