I Hope You Are Having a Mozzare-hella Good Day!

I don't know about you, but when the weather begins to get colder, I am ready to embrace the season of warm and cheesy paninis! The Co-Op located on 2005 Belcourt Avenue in Nashville was first on my list to see if it would fulfill my craving.

I ordered a caprese panini that included tomato, mozzarella cheese, basil pesto, and balsamic vinaigrette melted in between two crispy pieces of sourdough bread.

I absolutely love sourdough bread and the thinly sliced pieces worked perfectly for this sandwich. It was grilled beautifully golden brown with a satisfying crunch. The contrast of texture between the crispy bread and the melty mozzarella was excellent.

I would ask for extra basil pesto next time I order this sandwich because I struggled to taste any pesto which could elevate the overall flavor tremendously. The menu also mentioned a balsamic vinaigrette which I did not see or taste.

With that being said, the tomatoes added a delightfully refreshing and tangy flavor to the rich mozzarella cheese.

The panini overall felt very balanced between the mouthwatering ooey gooey mozzarella, the thin crisp sourdough, and the juicy tomatoes.

I was having a little too much fun eating this panini with all it's possible cheese pulls. It was such a simple yet lovely reminder to appreciate and take note of even the smallest things that make you smile every day. We all need moments to embrace our childhood selves sometimes.
